  1. Gorgeous grasses! I have my picture of William Shakespeare, but I overexposed while taking it so I’m not sure I’ll post. Anyways I love your photographs!

  2. It’s amazing to see just how fast all the growing things have gone from springtime freshness to full summer maturity and beyond. The colors you’ve captured here are vibrant yet subdued – almost like looking at a painting done by one of the old Flemish masters. The vineyard in the distance provides a nice contrast with its lush greens hinting at what I hope will be a fine harvest at summer’s end. Beyond your land it looks as though the valley has dried out a lot but the soft yellows blend beautifully into the haze of distant mountains.

I hope you’re feeling a bit better now the weather has cooled again. Take good care.

  3. Nice “Depth of Field” no pun intended. Sonoma and almost all of Northern California has to be the most beautiful place in the world. Beautiful colors on you blog.

  4. Awww…what a wonderful angle with that peek at the hidden vineyard. It’s an awesome photo, one that makes me wish I was there. Not that I’d want the heat…we have our own, coupled with humidity. Oh, but to watch the colours change with the lowering sun….perfect!
I will hope you’ve found a reprieve from all things imposing, and that a sweet, gentle breeze has washed away some of those nuisances.

  5. Stunning image dearest Linda ~ we have some vineyards here where I live – but they can’t compare to this. I hope you are doing ok my friend…Sending tons of love your way ~ x RL
